Born into an impressive artistic family in the Utopia region of the Central Desert, Mary has learned her craft from the very best. She is the older sister of celebrated artist Katie Rumble Pitjara and her extended family includes her internationally esteemed aunts, Gloria Petyarre and Kathleen Petyarre
